Check a link before you open it

You see the full address, with the site name in bold. Nothing opens by itself: a link, a call or a Wi-Fi connection starts only when you tap.

Warnings for common phishing tricks

  • no https
  • look-alike letters in the site name
  • a shortened link
  • a login before “@”
  • an IP address instead of a name
  • a well-known brand used only as a prefix

The check reads the address only, on your phone. It cannot tell whether the site itself is safe.

Reads the codes you meet

The app opens on the camera and reads a code without a button press. It reads QR Code, Micro QR, Data Matrix, Aztec, PDF417, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, ITF, Codabar and GS1 DataBar.

Connect to the network (Android 11 and later) or copy the password.

Add it to your contacts, call or write an email.

Add it to your calendar.

Open in the right app with the fields filled in.

No internet permission

The only permission the app asks you for is the camera. It has no internet permission, so it cannot send your scans anywhere.
